Houston Buyers Club is awarding frequent flyer miles on Continental Airlines to the Houston Buyers Club team member who raises the most money for the Houston Buyers Club team.

To register as a Houston Buyers Club team member, visit HBC offices or email aidswalk@houstonbuyersclub.com for more details. You must be a registered team member on the Houston Buyers Club team to be eligible to win the frequent flyer miles on Continental Airlines. Air miles will be awarded after July 2008.*

We are raising money specifically for the following categories:

Education: Houston Buyers Club is committed to education in our community to help improve quality of life for those living with HIV, diabetes, Hep C, sexual dysfunction, hypertension, high cholesterol, muscle loss, fat gain, fatigue, low sex drive, depression, and more.

Nutritional Supplement Program: At present, Houston Buyers Club helps many people by dispensing nutritional supplements free of charge to those living with chronic illness who have a limited income and who live in Harris County. We would like to expand these programs to help people living with chronic illness manage side effects so that quality of life can be improved.

General Operating: Running a nonprofit business costs time, dedication, and money. Thanks to the wonderful support of our community and our volunteers we’ve grown exponentially in the last few years, which means we need more staff, computers and up-to-date software to continue to benefit as many people as possible.

*Additional rule guidelines: All pledges on the AIDS Walk site are marked as pending until monies are officially received. Prize will be awarded to the contact person(s) listed on the team’s website. Those wishing to compete for air miles and who want to form their own team in order to benefit Houston Buyers Club must make their request in writing and be approved by HBC and AIDS Foundation Houston BEFORE their team is formed.
